As a logician, analyzing has always come naturally. Understanding was important. It is important. As an artist, analyzing has crippled me. Art isn’t always about understanding. And its understanding often belies its transcendence. In the end, art is about analyzing. Not how your words will affect a person. But, rather, it’s analyzing how your words affect your story. In the end, art is the analysis of how your strokes, notes, words, or grunts tell the story you want to tell. Once I understood this, I figured it out. And I found the Artist in the Logician.
